Dr Chantal Chiasson

Dentist and owner

Dr. Chiasson originally hails from Caraquet, New Brunswick. She earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Laval University in 1995. Her career brought her to the Outaouais region, where she worked alongside Dr. Marc Plante, a meticulous dentist with an excellent reputation. After Dr. Plante retired in 1999, Dr. Chiasson became the sole owner of the clinic.

An avid learner with an unwavering commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism, Dr. Chiasson continuously enriches her knowledge by completing courses throughout Canada and the United States. Her specific interests include cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, TMJ pain, CEREC technology and orthodontics for chidren and adults. Dr. Chiasson gets her motivation from helping her patients regain confidence in themselves and their smile.

Dr. Chiasson is empathetic and passionate about her work and she always listens attentively to make sure she understands her patients’ needs. She has broad expertise and earns the trust and loyalty of her patients through her gentle approach and attention to detail.

Dr. Chiasson’s clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure that clients receive cutting-edge services.

A mother of three, Dr. Chiasson loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys travelling and being outdoors.

Dr. Yuying Mei

Dentist

Born in Japan and of Chinese origin, Dr. Mei grew up in Montreal where she graduated dental school at the University of Montreal. Upon graduation, she decided to move to Gatineau, joining the Chiasson and Lajoie dental clinic.

With the desire to expand her knowledge, Dr. Mei works once a week at a pediatric clinic and is involved in continued education in areas such as sedation, endodontics and much more. Driven by her interest in pediatric dentistry, she has what it takes to make the young ones feel at ease. Dr. Mei also has an interest in esthetic dentistry, crowns, endodontics and surgery.

Her cheerful attitude and her empathy towards others make her easygoing and trustworthy. A great listener, Dr. Mei prioritizes the comfort and well-being of her patients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mei enjoys oil painting and acrylics, knitting and embroidering. She also likes to try out new recipes and eat the fruits of her labour. Recommendations are always welcome!

Dr Quang-Dang Truong

Dentist

Although he was born in Montreal, Dr. Truong spent his entire youth in Ottawa. He returned to his hometown to complete his doctorate in dental medicine at the University of Montreal in 2023. After his studies, he returned to the Ottawa-Gatineau region to practice general dentistry. He eventually developed a fondness for the Outaouais area and decided to settle there.

With his calm and gentle personality, Dr. Truong works meticulously while keeping patients comfortable and at ease. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and takes the time to understand each person’s needs. Committed to staying current in a constantly evolving field, he regularly pursues continuing education in various areas (sedation, CEREC, endodontics, aesthetics, periodontal surgery) in order to offer patients the most recent techniques and technologies.

In his free time, Dr. Truong enjoys traveling and playing sports and board games with his friends. To relax, he likes watching shows and sports on TV, especially American football. He is a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Ottawa Senators!
